The Vitamin Shoppe B-100 and B-50 preparations have served us well in reducing elevated homocysteine levels. The two preparations (B-100 and B-50) differ principally in dose of vitamins B6 and B12 but have the same quantity of folic acid. The B-100 preparation, in particular, has been most helpful in reducing homocysteine levels that begin in the 14–20 µmol/l range.
